VISUAL MUSIC OVERVIEW
Visual Music has completed an impressive stream of projects in recent months. Creative Director Tom Seufert and star composer Bear McCreary were recently awarded a Silver Lion in Cannes for Branded Media & Entertainment via AT&T’s “Daybreak,” an innovative transmedia web series. Other recent notable assignments include the short film “Sword,” for Canon and spots for Hard Rock Hotel, DeVry University, The Salvation Army, P&G and Kohler.
“We’re passionate about imaginative, boundary-breaking creative, and ‘Daybreak’ positions us right on the cutting-edge,” says Seufert. “Bear McCreary was the perfect composer for this epic project. It’s a great example of Visual Music delivering beyond expectations.”
“We were fortunate to work with a dream team of Hollywood talent to help bring to life the vision of ‘Daybreak,’ and the music was no exception,” adds Julian Katz, Executive Producer of Content & Development at BBDO New York, AT&T’s creative agency partner. “We are huge fans of Bear and his work and we could not have been more thrilled with his contributions. He really embraced the nature of our project.”
Visual Music’s roster also includes Transcenders (“Gossip Girl”), Eagles hit songwriter Jack Tempchin, Academy Award®-nominated sound designer Herwig Mauer (“Apocalypto”) and a cache of award-winning composers and songwriters.
“We have our strongest, most committed creative team ever,” states Seufert, “this past summer we added some amazingly talented 20-somethings to our eclectic roster including Karmina, Hotel Cinema’s Mark Hadley, Brendan McCreary / Young Beautiful in a Hurry, MAESTRO-matic and Tim Blane.
The boutique has collaborated with a wide range of clients, including AT&T, HBO, Samsung, EA, Disney, Sony Tristar, Chrysler, Home Depot, The Mayo Clinic, Ford, The Salvation Army and Toyota.
